Funeral services for Floyd Thomas, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. JohnSimpson, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Milton BaptistChurch. The Rev. W. R. Wakeland officiated. Burial was in Oakwoodcemetery.

Mother Finds Her Baby Dead In Bed.
When Mrs. John Simpson went to the little bed this morning in whichshe had lain her eight weeks old baby to sleep last night, she foundthe infant dead. The baby had been in the best of health since birthand last evening laughed, merrily when the neighborhood childrenplayed with him. Both Mr. and Mrs. Simpson were in the home thismorning when the mother found the child had died in its sleep. Thefather hastily summoned a physician who pronounced the child dead.Coroner Bauer was also called and he held an Inquest.
The funeral of the infant will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clockand services will be held in the Milton Heights Baptist Church, thepastor, Rev. W. R. Wakeland, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood.
