Dorothy J. Williams

NAMPA, Idaho - Dorothy Jean Williams, 85, fomerly of Bethalto, died at3:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 1996 at Mercy Medical Center in Nampa.

Born June 30, 1911 in Alton, she was the daughter of the late Jamesand Nellie (Britton) Everett.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bethalto.

She married Charles Otto Williams on June 27, 1931, in Alton. Hepassed away on June 11, 1976.

Surviving are three daughters, Beatrice Stevenson of Granite City,Virginia Neunaber of Nampa and Ramona Culp of East Alton; two sons,Louis L. Williams of Eldred and Ricky J. Williams of Bethalto; 16grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elias-Smith FuneralHome in Bethalto. Visitation will continue from noon until servicetime at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Bethalto. TheRev. Charles S. West will officiate.

Burial will be at Bethalto United Methodist Church Cemetery inBethalto.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

[Note: Ramona Culp and Ricky J. Williams were actually children ofBeatrice (Williams) Stevenson, and not children of Dorothy JeanWilliams.]
