Wedding Today
Donald Kenney and Mrs. Ethel Hellrung were married at 7 o’clock thismorning in St. Patrick’s Church and the Rev. John Crosson officiatedat the ceremony and read nuptial mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph K. Bergfeld, brother-in-law and sister of thebridegroom, were the couple’s attendants.
Mrs. Hellrung wore a powder blue suit with navy blue accessories forher marriage. Mrs. Bergfeld wore a pink suit and black accessories,and the bride and her matron of honor had corsages of roses.
Breakfast was served to members of the immediate families after theceremony, and later in the morning the couple left on a wedding tripto Chicago. They will reside in an apartment on State St.
Mr. Kenney, son of Mrs. Thomas Kenney of 1231 East Seventh St., andthe late Mr. Kenney, is employed by the Standard Oil Co. Mrs. Kenneyis a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Everett.

TUCSON, Ariz. - Former Alton resident Ethel L. Kenney, 74, died March9, 1989, in Tucson. Surviving are her husband, Donald Kenney; a son,Terry Kenney of Godfrey; two grandchildren; and a sister, DorothyWilliams of Bethalto.

A funeral Mass was celebrated March 13 at St. Thomas the ApostleCatholic Church in Tucson. Burial was in Our Lady of the DesetCemetery in Tucson.

Memorials may be given to Casa da Los Ninos (Home for Abused Children)347 E. Speedway, Tucson, Ariz., 85705.
